How much does the metal sign material weigh?

Can I print on both sides of my metal wall clamps? What about ordering a custom size?

At the moment we only have single-sided printing. Also, we can customize the design and idea of the order, but without altering the standard dimensions of the signs. All of our signs have built-in mounting holes.

What size wall clamps should I buy? And how many should I use?

Most plaques at Rusty Rooster Metal vary in their size. So, for 3” metal signboards, use 3.15” option and for 5” to 12” signboards, use the 4.72” size and for signs that are larger than 12”, make sure to use a 15” clamp. According to our recommendation, using 1 pack at the top and 1 pack at the bottom should be enough. Wall clamps come in packs of 2.

How will wall clamps affect my custom metal sign design?

The standard measurement for the grooves for wall clamp is .44” from the edges, hence it’s wise to ensure the size of the design elements is also .44" from the top and bottom edges.

How should I attach my wall clamps to the wall?

Our product will be delivered with an instruction manual to clearly help you with this particular process. The clamps come with locator washers and these washers get detached from the clamp themselves. Now using the instruction manual, read where to screw the washers into the wall. Once that is done, you are all set to attach the sign to the washers. Don’t forget to tighten them at the end!

How many drilled holes will my metal signs come with?

Our largest metal sign designs come with 6 pre-drilled holes, 1 in each corner and 2 in the middle. Whereas our smaller sizes come with 4 pre-drilled holes, 1 in each corner of the signage. One important thing to note while ordering metal designs is that drilled holes are not automatically included, you will have to select the “Drilled Holes” option before you start designing your metal sign.

How should I clean my custom metal sign?

Simply hang them on your walls and enjoy looking at their precision and beauty! Metal signs at Rusty Rooster Metals do not require any maintenance nor do they need any protection. They are made from 16-gauge steel and then powder coated as well for extra protection from potential hazards. So, we are sure once the sign is yours, it will be yours for a long, long, time. But if still, you want to clear off the dust, you can do so by using a lint-free cloth with little soap and water.
